Only the 4th through the 8th characters on the VIN number are needed to nail down a particular type of Charger, such as AWD vs. RWD. I don't know of a website that will let you do it for free, but there are some that will do it for money: go to www.google.com and put in vin decoder as keywords to search for.
Also, you could ask specific Charger experts at http://www.chargerforums.com/ once you join for free, giving them your 4th through 8th characters of the VIN number. Also, you could call a dealership and I think they can enter the VIN to figure it out.
Or, you could park the car with the steering wheel turned hard over, and then look to see if a driveshaft is running from the engine compartment directly to the center of the front wheel, something called a "half-shaft" CV.

My bad on that last answer. For some reason, I thought this was a Dodge Charger. Anyway, there is a free site at http://www.decodethis.com/ to try. They should tell you what it is.
